Fertility Treatment Centre
The Women’s Clinic of West Tallinn Central Hospital deals with women’s health throughout their life cycle, by offering modern and professional assistance in resolving women’s health-related concerns, as well as offering assistance in becoming a mother. The clinic also includes a family centre, where expectant families are able to prepare for childbirth and their new family by receiving new ideas and skills for dealing with the child. Approximately every fourth child in Estonia is born at the maternity hospital in Pelgulinna. In 2019, the clinic was awarded the title of a baby-friendly hospital, in recognition of the hospital’s work in supporting and promoting breastfeeding. In 2020 Women's Clinic's Head Midwife Heli Rannu was awarded Midwife of the Year honour for her extraordinary work during the pandemic's first year.
